Smart Study Books respects the intellectual property rights of authors, publishers and textbook boards. We list educational materials that are publicly distributed for teaching and learning purposes, and we do not knowingly host or link to material without a good-faith basis for believing it is appropriate for that use. If you are a rights holder and believe a listing on this Site infringes your copyright, we will act promptly on a valid request.

How to submit a copyright complaint

To request removal, contact us with the following information:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
2. The exact URL (page address) of the material on this Site.
3. Your name, organisation (if applicable), and a way to contact you.
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.

Where to send a request

Submit copyright requests through our Contact page or via WhatsApp, selecting "Copyright / DMCA request" as the reason. We aim to review and respond to valid requests within 5–7 business days, and to remove or disable access to the material promptly once a request is confirmed.

Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice through the same channel, including your contact details and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.

Repeat infringement

We will remove listings that are the subject of repeated, valid copyright complaints and will not re-list the same material without a resolution.
